Sometimes, We Need to Make Good Things Happen depicts a person’s everyday moment of quiet introspection, reflecting how individual imagination and the desire for escapism layers over the routine of everyday life. Be it watching dramas from a tablet in a ziploc bag secured with a clipped hanger while washing the dishes, or fantasising about a past overseas trip, this momentary mental break from monotony is essential within the routines of responsibilities.
Imagination relies on an individual’s lived experiences and evokes curiosity towards an alternate reality lived outside of current constraints. The ingenuity of the human spirit is able to adapt to the ever-changing circumstances to allow one to reflect.
